Theodory produced a collection of short, non-technical summaries of legal expert opinions on the Cybercrime Act of 2015 and its implications for human rights, a series of blog posts about the Cybercrime Act, and a report on the effectiveness of summaries and articles to explain the importance of such a law to the average internet user. This project sought to address the lack of understanding and awareness about the legal framework and regulations that govern internet usage in Tanzania. Through these translations and clear explanations of these laws, the project was designed to bridge the gap between the technical legal framework and average internet users, empowering individuals to understand the implications of the laws and assert their rights online. All of the resources, including the summaries, blog posts, and report, are available at a centralized site.
