Yohani worked closely with OPTIMA’s partners in Tanzania to ttranslate and localize a series of circumvention resources for the Hadzabe community in rural Tanzania. Through their efforts, they educated a range of community members about shutdowns and how to use circumvention tools during potentially fraught elections when shutdowns are most likely. Following the initial translation and localization process, Yohani partnered with ambassadors from the Hadzabe community to promote awareness and outreach efforts within the community more broadly.
